Save us and help us with your right hand so that those that you love may be delivered.
(Psalm 60:5)

As I pondered this verse, I couldn’t resist thinking about Daniel and how this relates to my workplace.

Daniel stepped up to help interpret King Nebuchadnezzar’s dream because the dream interpreter’s department  was at risk of being killed if no one could interpret. The presence of God on Daniel was evident, and the gifting on his life saved his work and his life.

In my role, I am tasked with challenging projects that help grow my career. I am tasked with ensuring not only the project is finished on time but that it’s accurate. These projects are tied to the overall goals of the department, which flow to the company as a whole.

As I consider the enormity of my work assignments, I feel they are beyond my capability. Today, my prayer is, “God, help us with this project, which affects the whole department, so that those who love you may be delivered. If the project is successful, then not only I but my boss, her boss, and the department will succeed, and we all get to keep our jobs.

So how dedicated are you at work?

May you allow the Lord to use you at your workplace and be the solution the company or department has been looking for.

May you remember to give God the glory as Daniel did.
